Pit Bulls have 1600 psi jaw pressure, and they can lock their jaws
This is one of my favorites! Not only is there no device in existence which could measure the strength of a dog's jaw, but if they had the ability to lock their jaws, they would have to be classified as another species. Pit Bulls are known to be extremely tenacious, and will not easily relinquish something that they see as rightfully theirs. However, their jaws have nothing unique about them to distinguish them from any other breed of dog.

Absolutely American Pit Bull Terriers "Lock" their jaw.
You may argue semantics and what "lock" means (in the literal sense, there is no mechanism in an American Pit Bull Terrier Jaw that would act like a "lock"...however when a Pit Bites, it DOES NOT LET GO.
It is a Predator Animal that cannot be trusted due to the Pollution of it's gene pool. The dog WAS and IS Bred to be a FIGHTING ANIMAL to FIGHT AND KILL other animals.
Other dogs are more "vicious" than a Pit Bull (Chihuahua satistically biting more people), however as you know a Chihuahua does not have the bite force, or lethal power of a Pit Bull. There is a REASON! why Pit Bull attacks make the Nightly News (and Golden Retriever attacks do not).
